This client called us out to her home for Water Damage Restoration. She had a water leak from her refrigerator that she believed had been leaking for about 4 days. The water had soaked all her walls, kitchen cabinets and even leaked through the wall into the living room soaking her carpet and padding. Our technicians had to remove her refrigerator, all of her cabinetry, the drywall, pull back the carpet and remove the contaminated padding. They then cleaned all of the surfaces with Benefect, a botanical disinfectant, which kills 99.9% of all bacteria and fungi. Once all the water was extracted and all the surfaces cleaned the technicians then set up air movers, dehumidifiers and air scrubbers. These will speed up the dry time and reduce the costs of the water damage.
